I am not a NFL person, I prefer college football - as you all probably know.

Since I live in NJ, a LOT of people around here are NY Giants fans and while I was debating on rooting for them, I decided to stay neutral and root for hotties instead since lets be real, I watch for the commercials and 'tight ends'

Well folks, it turns out I'm mainly a Patriots fan because of these two sexy men...

Really McDonalds??? Really?????

Today I have a ton to do around the house and with the back/hip/leg pain, every task takes me a LOT longer to complete.

I, of course, have time to go on Facebook though and was outraged as to what I saw...

How horrible is this?!? At first I didn't want to believe it but then I discovered this:

Root beer pulled pork, it's better then it sounds...

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before how much I suck at cooking. I'm just not good at it - especially if it involves a lot of ingredients. I succeeded in dinner last night though by making crock pot pulled pork and yes, I did pat myself on the back!

I had gotten the idea a few days ago on someone's blog but when I went to look up the ingredients, couldn't find what blog it was (ugh!) so I ended up getting the recipe my co-worker uses. It was thebombdotcom!

These were ALL of the ingredients! 4 things...

1 Pork loin (I think the one I got was 3ish pounds but I honestly didn't look)
1 can of beef broth
1 bottle of BBQ sauce
1 can of A&W Root Beer -- Since it wasn't on sale, I didn't feel like buying a whole pack just for one can so I bought a bottle and dumped about half in.

Directions:

Put the pork loin into the crock pot with broth and approx. 1/4 of the bottle of BBQ sauce. Cook on low for 5 hours

Take loin out of crock pot and shred with a fork. Before putting shredded pork back in the crock pot, dump the remaining broth. You don't need it any more.

In a bowl, combine the root beer and the rest of the BBQ sauce. Pour over the shredded pork and mix to make sure it's well covered. Cook on low for another 1-2 hours.

That's it! Easy, right?

Beau even said that it was good and wouldn't mind if I made it again. Score!

Speaking of Beau, he saw this video online last night, shared it with me, and I knew I had to share it with all of you. Enjoy...

He also decided that we are getting new bedding.

I'll admit, it's pretty cool but I think he's lost his mind. Not only do I not want to wake up on blood splatter every morning but how am I suppose to decorate a bedroom around this?!

Wedding Wednesday

Welcome to my first ever Wedding Wednesday link up, which will run the first Wednesday of each month!

There are so many pieces to a wedding, I couldn't decide what to put on here first. Should I begin with the most important part? Besides from the man though, that would be the dress. Although I do have my dress, I'm not sharing those details until the wedding comes so you'll have to wait. Maybe I'll do a post on the dresses that failed but I'll save that for another Wednesday. Another important part of the wedding... the cake, duh!

Story behind it... Beau always has such a fake smile in pictures. To make it a real smile, he started to grab my butt. It now happens every time we take a picture! So as you can imagine, I was beyond excited when I saw this online. It totally fits us!

Sometimes... and Always...

It's a slow day in the office today so I'm going to link up with Megan for Sometimes and Always... Enjoy!

Sometimes... I want to use the elliptical that has been sitting in my dining room for 2 years now.

Always... I remind myself that it will hurt my back even worse and I do not want that to happen.

(please ignore my dirty house)

Sometimes... I want to move said elliptical to the basement or someone else's house because I don't like it being in my dining room but it's the only space for it.

Always... I never move it because I want to have it for when I get better. I saved my pennies and damn it I want to gain buns of steel from it haha


Sometimes... I want to cut my hair short again.

Always... I look at the pictures and change my mind. Not only do I look better with longer hair but I want Rapunzel hair for my wedding.

Sometimes... I think about going back to college and getting a degree in psychology.

Always... My bank account reminds me that going back to college isn't the best idea right now and besides, what are the chances of me actually using the degree.

Sometimes... I try to convince Beau to get a tattoo

Always... He shoots me down. Boooo! Never did I think I'd be marrying a tattoo-less man.

Sometimes... I go to Tarjay and buy a whole bunch of pretty, new clothes.

Always... At least 1/4 of them sits in the closet; tags still on them. One day I'll wear them... really, I will!

Sometimes... I'll be getting ready to go out with friends and will be confident that I'll sing a song for karaoke night.

Always... I never sing. I get too nervous. Besides, I'm practically tone deaf! I have done it once before. In a bar where no one knew my name and I'll never go back to haha
