Welcome to my first ever Wedding Wednesday link up, which will run the first Wednesday of each month!
There are so many pieces to a wedding, I couldn't decide what to put on here first. Should I begin with the most important part? Besides from the man though, that would be the dress. Although I do have my dress, I'm not sharing those details until the wedding comes so you'll have to wait. Maybe I'll do a post on the dresses that failed but I'll save that for another Wednesday. Another important part of the wedding... the cake, duh!

And our topper?
Story behind it... Beau always has such a fake smile in pictures. To make it a real smile, he started to grab my butt. It now happens every time we take a picture! So as you can imagine, I was beyond excited when I saw this online. It totally fits us!

ReplyDeleteAs a side job, I make wedding cakes like the ones shown above. You can always have a cake "made" to look like these cakes, using styrofoam for all but the top layer. Then, a sheet cake is cut in back for all of the guests. It saves A LOT of money. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the cake topper story. Ours was the groom holding a football while carrying the bride on hid back, about to cross into the end zone. (hubs loves football) :)

ReplyDeleteI Love the last to cakes, and that cake pop idea is pretty awesome. L never liked to smile and now that he has pretty teeth after braces he loves showing his pearly whites. haha
